Zooming with energy and ideas this morning, including the opening lines of a song:

turn your back,
close your eyes,
islam means peace
and other lies . . .

The start of a response to a really nice person who would never think of turning her back on her physical problems, her husband's physical problems, her children's desires and problems . . . but who told me, "Don't we just give energy to darkness by paying attention to it"? Yes, that's how she and millions of others live their lives. Great excuse.

And this morning, an 85-year-old Holocaust survivor was found murdered in her Paris apartment. The murderer, according to the story, is a 35-year-old Muslim neighbor (so identified in the story) whom she had known since he was a child. She had received death threats, had reported them to the police. They had done nothing, not even investigated.

There are armed guards outside Jewish schools throughout France. Thousands of Jews leave France every year, according to the reports due to Islamic anti-Semitism.

Any yet so many otherwise good people believe it is better to ignore all this "darkness."

This morning's thoughts - to reach much further with the truth that, not to pay attention to "dark truths" just makes things worse. Lots of thoughts on that. Where to post - which new-agey places. What to post. What to say in a video.

In my head the song is playing:

turn your back,
close your eyes,
islam means peace
and other lies

Just waiting for the second verse to come together.

deny the dark
deny your fears

turn to the light

deny deny deny . . .
